Post-op Precautions for Liposuction

• To prevent infection, prescribed medications should be taken for 5 days after surgery.
• After the procedure, a large gauze dressing will be placed over the surgical area, secured with tape for compression, and wrapped with a bandage. This dressing should be kept in place for 2 days starting from the day after surgery.
• Two days after surgery, please visit the clinic to have the treated area checked and disinfected.
• A compression garment should be worn from 2 days after surgery for WhatsApp approximately 2 months.
• Some pain or discomfort may occur during the first few days after surgery.
• Bruising and swelling may vary by individual, but typically persist for about 2 weeks after surgery.
• Sutures will be removed 1 week after surgery.
• Starting 2 weeks after surgery, it is recommended to receive radiofrequency (RF) treatments on the surgical area.
• Please avoid strenuous exercise for 1 month.
• For approximately 1 month after surgery, please refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol, and avoid sauna use.
